Oracle 10g DBA

- Experience on Linux, IBM AIX and Sun Solaris platforms.
- Experience with designing and Implementing large Oracle 10g databases in High Availability Architecture using Real application Clusters in OLTP and DSS environments.
- Experience Installing, administering, upgrading ,capacity planning , performance tuning and maintenance of Oracle 8i/9i/10g databases (ranging from 1gb to 500gb) for Data warehousing, ecommerce, OLTP applications in Production, QA and Development environmentsu.
Experience with monitoring and tuning the database for optimal performance and proactively managing all aspects of Oracle databases i.e. space, users, growth, response, throughput, instance performance
- Minimum Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in work environments involving very demanding deadlines and strong focus on quality.
- Highly proficient in large/complex database design and development, including Data Modeling, with Oracle/MS SQL Server/PostgreSQL, etc.
- Experience with using Rational Rose to develop UML Models (Use cases, Sequence diagrams, etc.).
- Solid exposure to the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and management, quality assurance and build/configuration management.
Person must have database administration support experience.
Person should also have overview knowledge/exposure to application DBA activities.
Person should have capability to handle live DB and must have good conceptual knowledge or oracle DB architecture.
Person should have the good knowledge of Application server.
Person should be familiar with SOA(Service Oriented architect).
Telecommunication domain
Person should have conceptual knowledge of Standby database, RAC, performance tuning, installation of Oracle Products, Troubleshooting, Oracle db Backup and recovery.
