Executive Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer, for their client in UAE in the aviation industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for the research and documentation of all technical data necessary to create and/or modify work documents used to control, route, process, and record work accomplished for various parts and other items to be repaired, restored, or fabricated within Airline Technical Operations.

In particular you will,

1.Formulate suitable methodology to facilitate flow of operational information to all concerned by reviewing regular reports and feedback from all the hubs;

2.Produce user friendly and effective operation documentation to the highest quality standards

3.Manage operations policies and procedures to comply with industry standards and recommended practices.

4.Coordinate between hubs Operations Department sections to standardize and cross reference all the operations manuals and procedures/policies within the Operations Publications and ensure that documentation meets regulatory standards and IOSA SARPs.

5.Timely amendment of the manuals once revisions from the manufacturer or regulatory bodies are received, including liaison with the Job holders and Technical Librarian in order to identify priorities.

6.Manage migration to paperless systems

7.Ensure the timely implementation, integration and usage of systems, document structures and procedures

8.Maintain reliability standards for existing manuals/forms and ensure that updated manuals and forms are utilized and implemented by all hubs through internal audits.

9.To monitor operational safety standards, regulations and other contractual agreements throughout the hubs and networks.

10.Assist the team member to be familiar and ready to function with all Operations Manuals and training in order to be able to assist and handle work during leave/duty travel by exchanging experience delegation and briefing each other.

The Logistic Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day logistics, marine support general duties in support of field operations as well as general office duties for the Red Sea Research Center.

Major Responsibilities The employee will be required to perform any other position-related duties requested by the supervisor.

1. Make logistic arrangements for students, staff and faculty

2. Operate and maintain Center’s boats . Ensure that boats are serviced and operational.

2.1 Operate and maintain center vehicles. Ensure that maintenance and services are provided to the vehicles as needed.

2.2 Ensure students, and faculty complies with safety requirements during boat operations.

3. Work with Lab manager to ensure proper accountability of field equipment. Keep track of equipment issued for field research, monitor inventory, and ensure equipment is returned and operational.

4. Provides confidential support for the Faculty, Business Manager or Center Director, including driving staff to different locations in Saudi Arabia as part of field projects.

5. Return calls when necessary (to gather information or respond to inquires from callers)

6. Assist Executive Secretary with projects, supply orders, etc.

7. Interface w/other university departments to aid students/post-docs with issues like acquisition, government affairs, etc.

8. Help travel coordination’s for faculty, post-docs, etc

9. Other duties as assigned

Reporting into the Senior Operations Manager, the Hub Administrator will be the main point of contact between dealership Finance & Insurance staff and AFS to ensure smooth relationship and flow of documentation.  The job holder will mainly:
– Scrutinise applications for documentation and basic credit policy parameters so as to ensure that a complete valid document pack is sent for underwriting.
- Ensure that resubmissions are minimised by ensuring proper documentation scrutiny the first time.
- Scrutinize and filter cases with an objective of the application meeting documentation and basic policy requirements of either panel banks or AFS, as the case maybe
- Ensure zero defect for applications processed
- Ensure that processing timelines for credit underwriting are complied with, and raise an early alarm with back-office in the case of exceptions.
- Set and manage expectations of F & I staff
- Highlight process gaps and provide regular feedback to back-office for process improvement
- Be well informed on product and credit parameters (including documentation criteria)
- Ensure contribution to team performance and development, and maintain effective working relationship with colleagues

Job Description:

• Ensure that company’s financial objectives, goals, and institutional growth are met in the branch region and are in accordance with policies of the Board of Directors or the corporate charter as well as government regulations.

• Direct and coordinate activities of the subordinate departments/divisions to obtain optimum efficiency, economy of operations within and between branches and the headquarters and maximize profits.

• Focus on sales – responsible for tied agents (direct sales) and broker management, with minimal operational functions.

MAIN TASKS

• Together with the CEO and the CO BD, defines and decides on the strategies and operational initiatives for the region

• Together with the CEO, CO BD and CFO develops the yearly budget for the branches – technically and operationally

• Assumes full financial and operational responsibilities for the region and drives innovation and growth for Company in the region

• Based on the corporate strategic and operational goals, plans, develops, and directs the branch’s strategy policies, practices, and goals and ensures that it is consistently translated into strategies, operational targets and policies at all levels of the branch

• Directs and coordinates, through subordinate managerial and supervisor personnel, activities of the branch

• Acts according to the strategic guidelines, quality standards and ethical principles as defined and set by the Corporate Headquarter

• For the purpose of achieving financial results, assumes a strong sales focus, customer service responsibility and provides necessary front-office functionalities – serves groups, individuals, as well as walk-in customers

• Leverages operational synergies with other branches as much as possible and makes use of either headquarter service center or automations

• Builds up and lives functional interfaces to Production, Customer Service, UW, Marketing and Finance

• Coordinates with the Corporate Headquarter for Underwriting and Actuarial services. UW of standard quotations in the branches can be foreseen at a later stage, non-standards are to be underwritten in the Headquarter

• Directs and coordinates promotion of products/services performed to explore the market in the region in its entirety, increase market share, and obtain a competitive position in industry in the region

• Monitors the activities and performance of the branches and initiates necessary countermeasures

• Annual target setting, monitoring of progress and implementation for direct reports; involvement in target setting and monitoring for other key staff in the branch

• Career planning and development for direct reports and key staff in the branch

• Involved in recruiting of all key staff in the Branches

• Ensures proper communication and reporting in the region towards all major stakeholders internal and external (CEO, CO BD, clients, business partners and governmental bodies)

• Ensures proper communication and knowledge sharing within the branch

• Confers with administrative personnel, and reviews activity and operating reports to determine changes in programs or operations required

• Represents and promotes the branch in industry and maintains amicable relationships with relevant government agencies

• Promotes a culture of trust, commitment, performance, development and innovation within the company, and ensures sustainable development of the branch and their employees
