Our client is the biggest Building and Homewares retail store in the Middle East. The organization has departments including furniture, bathrooms, kitchens, tools and hardware products.
We are looking for an Application Manager to join their rapidly expanding team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Manage a team of IT professionals in the field of systems analysis, applications software, and programming.
•Manage, develop and ensure the design and implementation of procedures and controls necessary to ensure and protect the safety and security of all information systems assets, including prevention of intentional or inadvertent access, modification, disclosure, or destruction.
•Researching the installation of new systems, review and approve action plans, requests and activities related to IT, coming from different functions of the company.
•Design a Reliable Microsoft Environment in the way that fulfills the company’s needs.
•Administer all versions of Microsoft Operating Systems, MS Exchange and MS ISA
•Administer all versions of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, FTP and other Microsoft features
•Administer various Antivirus applications.
•Administer BlackBerry application and service.
•In case a problem is captured on the Domain or the servers, analyze the problem and identify the solution.
•Solve issues through phone/e-mail or remotely, otherwise going to the site, and follow up the problem resolution until completed.
•Test the Systems and ensure the stability of the Systems Environment.
•Analyze help requests, identify problem and provide solutions. Enter updated data and feedback received from user into the system.
•Identify the type of resolution and update reason for failure/enter new issue into systems
•Check regularly database status. Prepare a Performance Report and notify related departments
•Determine all software requirements to ensure the security (anti-virus, internet, and phone).
•Prepare and develop Contingency and Disaster Recovery Plans, and train users.
•Direct and manage all the activities related to Project Management, including defining the project team, scope and targets as well as evaluation of the project at the end of a project phase.
