SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the International Support Coordinator is to assist the US-Based team at Marmi Natural Stone (sister company of Marmonil marble & granite) with processing orders to North America. This includes expediting the order process to ensure compliance with deadlines, quality control in order fulfillment and products. This position will also be responsible for overseeing all shipments for Marmi Natural Stone. The International Support Coordinator may be required to work at product related tradeshows for Marmonil and Marmi Natural Stone..

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• In conjunction with the Marmi Natural Stone Client Services Manager, work to develop relationships with logistics companies to coordinate the logistics of materials to North America.

• Assist the Client Services Manager with order processing and expediting for Marmi Natural Stone projects, ensuring quality and compliance on all projects.

• Communicate daily with Client Services Manager to keep him/her informed of the status of all pending orders and shipments as well as any defects in quality or problems that may arise.

• Visit quarries and manufacturing facilities to ensure quality control of products ordered for Marmi Natural Stone projects.

• Ensure paperwork for all Marmi Natural Stone shipments is processed accurately and efficiently.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Attend phone and in-person meetings with Marmi Natural Stone employees, clients and/or owners as required.

• Attend product related tradeshows for Marmonil and Marmi Natural Stone, as needed.

• Performs other duties as assigned by Marmi Natural Stone COO or Client Services Manager.

•Assist Relationship Manager(s) in maintaining & growing the commercial banking customer portfolio of European and North American subsidiaries operating throughout the UAE

•Dual focus on acquisition of new customers (by leveraging our international network and referral partners) and growth of wallet share with existing customers.

•Responsible for assisting senior Relationship Manager(s)with management of major client relationship within a complex and global product /business model.

•Cultivate existing relationship, understand and anticipate client’s needs as well as identify incremental sales opportunities

•Assist with development and execution of relationship strategy, calling plan and sales/product goals based on clients’ needs and opportunities

•Syndicate with and mobilise key internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery to client. Key partners in this respect include our dedicated account opening centre, payments and cash management sales, trade sales and operations teams.

•Proactively drive forward product solutions on the basis of client’s new business needs and requirements

•Improve the quality of the portfolio through regular monitoring of the relationship and assessment of the risks.

•Prepare all management reports relating to credit approvals, excesses, extensions and other house keeping tasks.

•Own the customer experience and ensure service excellence at all times, for all aspects of any customer or prospect’s interaction with HSBC.

•Maximize revenue and customer value from a portfolio of relationships and contribute directly to CMB’s target, both stipulated in Strategic Plan and AOP, in profit growth, credit quality etc

•Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.

•In conjunction with Compliance department, to implement the Group Compliance Policy by containing compliance risk in conjunction with the relevant compliance department. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.

•To be alert to operational risks and losses during the execution of their day to day responsibilities. Should an employee become aware of emerging or inadequately controlled operational risk or identify an operational risk loss, they must report this to their line manager, ensuring that it is reported to their local Operational Risk Co-ordinator.

•To adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls

KNOWLEDGE

•Experience in corporate/ commercial or investment banking, ideally as a credit analyst or a junior relationship manager focused on larger corporate clients

•Good knowledge of the Bank’s structures, products and services.

•Knowledge of FX, cash management, Trade Finance products & trade structures documentation and associated risks preferred

•Knowledge of regulatory provisions relating to banking and finance would be an advantage

•Understanding of risk management and credit mitigants and strong credit knowledge.

•Broad understanding of the competitive, legal and regulatory landscape, with a detailed knowledge of competitor propositions/ activity

•Knowledge of the changing economic, social and governmental environment and industries/sectors in the UAE and globally.
