Looking for experienced Business Development Manager, who can generate leads and contribute to the profit of the company in GCC Region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

- Delivers sales presentations to key clients

- Meets with key clients, maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

- Other duties may be assigned.

- Develops account sales plans / approaches.

- Identifies prospects and develops sales strategies to secure new business.

- Prospects active and inactive accounts both independently and jointly with appropriate staff as prioritized by the management .

- Works closely with CEO to review /coordinate sales efforts to ensure continued focus and success in meeting and exceeding individual and company sales targets.

- Partners with appropriate team members as a dedicated sales resource to enhance sales efforts through engaging in specific sales action plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of 5 years proven inside direct sales experience with focus on new business development.

- Proven experience in developing sales strategies, identifying warm prospects and closing techniques.

- Ability to call on the highest levels of decision makers in an organization with confidence.

- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, highly competitive environment.

- Self-motivated individual with a sense of urgency in all sales and service activity.

- Exceptional communication, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.

-Strong emphasis on the ability to listen and present appropriate solutions.

- Ability to establish and build relationships quickly within all levels of management and within customer accounts.

-Demonstrated initiative, and creativity with successful sales approaches and techniques.

-Experienced in use of CRM

-Excellent English & Arabic language communication skills.

-Western Education. Preferable to Hold a western passport.

Reporting to the Plant Manager Guardian Egypt, the person we seek for the role of Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for all commercial activities in the market defined as the region covered by the plant. The team collaborates with the inside sales organization at the plant as well as market segment managers within a central organization that provide general guidance in their markets and influence field activity. Success will be measured by the ability to meet the company’s commercial objectives in the region, including sales and business development targets and new product introduction plans that have been developed in cooperation with the Plant Manager. An initial period of training and familiarization is planned in EGC and in other units of the company in the Group.

Key responsibilities include serving three primary constituents:

1. The market

- Presenting and marketing the company’s products made in the region and where appropriate in plants elsewhere

- Promoting the company and its capabilities

- Understanding market developments and their likely impact on the company

- Introducing new, innovative products and services and broadening the company’s penetration into markets beyond construction such as solar energy and technical glass (lighting, white goods and commercial appliances)

- Promoting the company’s added value through training and advising customers, specifiers, processors and distributors

- Monitoring customers’ financial situation from a credit risk perspective

- Handling claims

- Preparing market plans and growth forecasts

- Develop marketing and sales support tools

- Representing the company at events and market-oriented industry groups

2. The plants

- Helping the plant understand the market though continuous communication and detailed information

- Ensuring the plant understands current and future market needs

- Providing consistent, accurate feedback for product and technology innovation and development

- Supporting the plant on strategies and tactics (what, when, how, how much, where and to whom)

- Prospecting and developing new opportunities

- Selling out the plant in its most profitable configuration in the context of giving priority to Guardian’s overall profitability

- Forecasting short term demand by customer by product

- Supporting the development of inside sales and with a focus on efficient and effective coordination between sales and all parts of the supply chain

3. The team

- Defining roles, responsibilities, functions and tasks for every member of the commercial team

- Setting personal goals, plans and objectives

- Ensuring targets are met by organising the team and developing, challenging and coaching people

- Supporting sales through accompanied visits

- Assisting team members in contract negotiation

- Excelling in supervision of day-to-day activities

- Paying special attention to communication and personal issues

The person we seek is an experienced sales management professional with at least 12 years of business experience, including at least five years in a field sales management role in Egypt. Ideally experience will have been gained in the construction or building products sector on an international basis. The ability to understand markets, lead commercial teams, position the company and its products and ensure productive relationships with customers are critical elements where a history of success will need to be proven.

Essential to success is the ability to work effectively within the unique culture and structure of Guardian. This requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to persuade through influence and expertise rather than the use of position power. In this context the ability to translate commercial strategies into pragmatic plans that can be clearly communicated and implemented, will distinguish the ideal candidate from also-rans.

Our client is a fast expanding construction company with a head office in Dubai and a newly awarded project in Saudi Arabia. With the award of this project they urgently need a Procurement Manager to handle all material acquisition and logistics associated with the scope of work.

This is a senior role and will report directly to the project director and liaise with the project management team to co ordinate all efforts. The client needs the guidance from a skilled Procurement Manager to assist with developing systems and controls to ensure the projects meet the clients expectations.

Job Purpose

Collaborate in Manage and plan all marketing communications related activities as per the overall company’s defined marketing strategies and Global Village mission and vision.

Job Accountabilities and Current Objectives

1. Collaborate in Manage develop Marketing activities such as marketing collaterals development and production, online marketing, newsletter, marketing and finance related matters and the execution of the corporate advertising campaigns.

2. Determine and manage the marketing budget and deliver marketing activity within agreed budget

3. Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects

4. Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products and identifying options to satisfy the service needs of guests and team members

5. Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information and provide recommendation to sr. manager marketing and media relations to maximize the marketing campaign performance

6. Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results to GV Management

7. Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products and ensure consistent efforts with the company’s brand identity and overall strategic plan.

8. Responsible for the development and delivery of all marketing aspects, such as below/above the line advertising.

9. Collaborate in Managing and plan the department day to day relationship with the agency and act as the liaison in terms of ensuring all briefs are well provided and deliverables are met as per the defined deadlines

10. Collaborate in developing the marketing communications briefs and project objectives.
