• Work out measurements and valuations of completed work based on progress at site and prepare invoices for payment.

• Estimate and monitor overall quantities for projects and review subcontractors, suppliers and vendors invoices.

• Participate in the procurement process and review subcontractors, suppliers, vendors quotations for placement of orders.

• Expertise in drafting and interpretation of contract documents enabling to settle issues, avoid disputes and ensure the effective progress of a project.

• Provide junior staff with guidance on their job responsibilities.

• Negotiate with client’s representatives and other consultants.

• Advise project management on contractual implications of intended courses of action.

• Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks.

• Review monthly reports.

• Identify change and implement change control process and agreement.

• Ensure that contract documents are properly executed prior to project commencement.

-Liaise with technical partners, project staff and consultants in the determination and co-ordination of the various project development requirements.

-Maintain communication at all stages of the project and resolve related problems in conjunction with appropriate staff/consultants.

-Develop key performance indicators for production performance. -Ensure the efficiency of staff, procedures and production costs.

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to

strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating

the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver

projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives

and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in

collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders

in a timely and clear fashion.

• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes

where necessary.

• Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of

required personnel from within the company.

• Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the

appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.

• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other

• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to

identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

• Be able to present stand-alone corporate presentation to global client base.

• Be able to negotiate terms and conditions of business with existing and new clients, targeting specifically high-margin revenue streams.

• Work closely with support divisions and take the lead where appropriate regarding contracts, invoicing, payment chasing, etc, in particular being fully aware of the accounts debt and ensuring all debtors fall within specified payment terms

• Responsible for the identification of suitable candidates to fulfil client requirements – this will include headhunting and candidate interviewing.

• Ensure all new sales are fully compliant with signed documentation, full understanding of compliance solutions and associated costs, with an ongoing understanding of their commercial agreements to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
