A Fortune 500 ® Company, our client is a leading research and engineering firm with more than 45, 000 employees and offices in over 150 cities worldwide.
For many years they have been providing business, management, technical consulting, and IT support services to governments and a comprehensive portfolio of international clients, in their key strategic markets of oil and gas and utilities, from key locations across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA).
The Role: Lead Change Manager
Our client in the Middle East is looking to engage a Lead Change Manager to join a team of talented consultants. Successful candidates will be engaged in consulting assignments for our clients in the Middle East.
Duties:
You will be responsible for carrying out organisational change management scope appropriate to the delivery of transformational projects and programs. These initiatives typically involve technology solutions and the associated change-related activities. You may also participate in the planning, execution, deployment and/or post-implementation phases.
You may be assigned to work on projects involving different solutions in areas such as Digital Oilfield, Data Management, Work and Asset Management, Service Oriented Architecture, Enterprise Content Management / Document Management, or other general business process change efforts.
As a Change Management expert, you will typically be responsible for:
• Helping to identify those parts of the organisation affected by a change.
• Identifying impacts to an organisation and determining appropriate interventions, such as changes in job roles or incentives, or needs for training, communications, etc.
• Overseeing and/or performing role design and role mapping.
• Developing and managing relationships with stakeholders.
• Coordinating training (overseeing and/or performing design, development, and/or delivery of training) for the project team, subject matter experts, leadership and/or end users
• Developing and executing a communications plan to ensure that all persons impacted by the implementation – stakeholders, customers, vendors and end users, are kept informed at critical points
• Working with users to define requirements, assist in the design and implementation of business systems, determine alternate solutions and identify opportunities to use technology to advance business initiatives.
At times, you may also be responsible for:
• Identify stakeholders and their levels of commitment and influence in order to proactively develop stakeholder relationship management approaches.
• Shaping and defining the change management scope of work, planning and estimating the change management work efforts, and determining resource requirements necessary to deliver the work
• Managing work that involves the assimilation of business users and stakeholders impacted by an implementation
• Working with management to align job descriptions or incentives as needed.
The majority of the work is with our clients based in the Middle East so candidates should either live in the region, be willing to relocate to the region, or be willing to travel extensively to the region.
