• Lead and manage all proposal efforts. Responsibilities include the following:

- Develop the proposals analysis and outline;

- Project and recommend the allocation of proposal resources;

- Establish of a schedule of deliverables from the Projects and Technical teams;

- Write, edit and format the proposal;

- Schedule and hold review meetings;

- Final printing and production of the proposal;

- Proposal submission;

- Coordinate internal and external debriefings;

• Manage the Proposals Team in Dubai and ensure open lines of communication and support with Proposal resources across the Integrated Security Line of Business.

• Undertake regular reviews to ensure the proposals process, templates, boilerplate, graphics and training materials are in line with the ISLoB Business Development strategies.

• Liaise with Business Development, Legal, Finance, Insurance, Projects, human Resources, Corporate Affairs and Contracts departments throughout the ISLoB (Washington D.C., London, Baghdad, Dubai, Kabul, Lagos, Tokyo, Singapore) regarding proposal efforts and processes.

• Assist Business Development Managers, Program Managers and Directors to support business entrance strategies and methodologies in the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa and Asia with the production of Power Point presentations, introductory letters, Expressions of Interest and capability statements.

• Manage the proposals register, Z drive and PLANET to track and record all submitted proposal documents and financial data.

• Manage the proposal analysis process to track past and present efforts, proposal values, proposal strike rates and debriefings.

• Provide weekly Proposal reports, graphics, statistics and recommendations in support of LoB Business Development.

• Establish and maintain a past performance database to track all projects worldwide.

Shell has been at the forefront of the natural gas industry for more than 40 years and we have an unrivalled global position in natural gas amongst private energy companies. We’re the world’s largest equity producer of liquefied natural gas and hold a leading position in the world’s key natural gas markets of Europe, Asia-Pacific and United States. As the world searches for greener forms of energy, we expect demand for natural gas – the cleanest hydrocarbon – to double over the next two decades, and are well positioned to capture growth opportunities.

The Pearl Gas to Liquids (GTL) project includes the development of offshore natural gas resources in Qatar’s North Field. Upstream, natural gas will be produced, transported and processed to produce 120,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of condensate, liquefied petroleum gas and ethane. Downstream, dry gas will be used as feedstock to produce 140,000 barrels per day of clean, high quality GTL fuels and products.

We’re currently looking to recruit a Country Website Manager to join the Corporate Affairs Department.

Responsibilities:

The Country Website Manager will be responsible for ensuring the Shell MENA country Internet sites meets the needs of the Shell businesses and functions, and comply with the Shell Corporate web standards. The successful candidate will be required to:

- Ensure the sites are accurate, fresh, dynamic and relevant at all times,

- Create and execute an annual plan that supports the country reputation plan, marketing plans and the needs of all businesses in country, ensuring that each is using the web as an appropriate part of their communications / marketing mix,

- Pro-actively support the business in exploring and developing web solutions that address key business objectives that are aligned with Shell Corporate global web strategy,

- Promote standards and ensure that online initiatives comply with Shell standards and policies, including brand, accessibility, usability,

implement localised global content packages, working with WIPRO and local business/function focal points according to a standard workflow process,

- Analyse site statistics, using available tools, to generate insights and to support the businesses,

- Share and leverage knowledge and learning’s with other web managers,

- Undertake research and user testing and monitor online KPIs,

- Use customer research / testing to develop the site to be user-focused and customer-centric, and

- Manage online budgetary spend in regards to research and local marketing activities.

Assistant Manager Corporate Relations in WWF Pakistan

The position will be responsible for increasing and augmenting the fund-raising efforts of WWF-Pakistan in the region. He/she shall be required to maintain corporate donor liaison, seek potential corporate donors for conservation projects & ongoing fundraising campaigns and develop new initiatives to raise funds for nature conservation.

  1. Discuss and develop Annual Plans and Annual Measurable Outcomes in consultation with the reporting line;

  2. Assist in developing a short term fund raising strategy for the department;

  3. Assist in reviewing the current Corporate relationships of WWF and identify active partners among them to improve and maintain sustainable corporate relations within the Karachi corporate community

  4. Increase, as per the agreed annual targets corporate membership through identification of potential partners;

  5. Attain incremental and targeted increase in revenue from a diverse corporate community;

  6. Conduct, plan and organize scoping and due diligence exercises for motivation of the corporate sector to plan and implement CSR agendas;

  7. Assist in promoting brand awareness through marketing initiatives i.e panda merchandizing;

  8. Seek donors/sponsors for the ongoing fundraising campaigns and develop new initiatives;

  9. Work closely with other departments / projects to develop project proposals and seek funding from corporate donors;

  10. Provide updates to the reporting line as per agreed schedule;

  11. Maintain record of all the expenses and income from activities;
