Maintenance Coordination:

 Reports operational abnormalities to the maintenance department and follows up to ensure proper response and work continuity.

Shift Reports:

 Prepares shift reports to keep the operations superintendent well informed about work progress

Work Requirements:

 Coordinates work requirements with the other sections, make available designated and required shift operating personnel as needed to ensure work progress

Housekeeping:

 Ensure the house keeping and cleanliness of work area and machinery is maintained by respective operating personnel to have trouble free running of the plant and bring equipment to show room condition.

Emergency Response:

 Respond immediately to emergencies, including fires, to mitigate and rescue Plant equipment and/or personnel during emergency situations.

Shift Operations:

 Follows up the shift operations through the work instructions given by the operations superintendent to fill in gaps and ensure water desalination plant equipment and auxiliaries utilization is maximized with minimal costs and within the Marafiq standards.

 Review log sheets from previous shift to determine condition/status of each unit. Follow up on existing problems and progress corrective steps throughout the shift to reach resolution of problem.

 Issue Permit to Work and Safety Tags to carry out the required maintenance work – includes isolation of problem areas and perform electrical switching as may be needed.

 Review Control Room and Field Operators log sheets to determine if they were completed accurately and whether or not there are deviations from standard parameters.

 Tour plant to determine mechanical status of the equipment and overall readiness of the plant and identify safety infractions, if any, take appropriate action

 Supervise and participate in routine tests and check ups such as Changing-Over of auxiliaries, electrical switchgear, etc.

 Participate in shut-downs for maintenance and or standby purposes and in start-ups. Includes ensuring safety, proper isolation, testing, etc. to ascertain the problem has been resolved, normalizing the unit and bringing it back on line

 Respond to emergency situations such as tripping trouble shoot problem and take appropriate corrective steps to normalize the unit.

 Supervise weekly and monthly activities and coordinate with other Operations sections in case of interface problems.

With strong growth in local and international markets, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a natural ability for business / relationship development to join the HUB team in our Doha office.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in sourcing and securing business opportunities at a local and international level.

Our ideal BDM will have the following attributes:

1. Live in Doha

2. Experience of between 5 -10 years in Business Development for a similar design

focused industry.

3. Strong technical capability

4. Ability to communicate design and technical details

5. Strong commercial understanding and ability to negotiate confidently

6. Driven and self-motivated

7. Experience with relevant office computer software and office procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include but, of course are not in any way limited to:

• Sourcing and developing business relationships and opportunities.

• Delivering marketing plans and strategies

• Ensuring repeat business from new and current clients

• Working with the HUB team to best achieve the Business development goals of HUB

• Presenting HUB to Government, Developers, Specifiers and Contractors

• Over see OR direct OR produce presentation / submission documents

• Closing out marketing / sales opportunities

• Maintaining an accurate and up to date register of opportunities

• Maintaining awareness of emerging needs in the international market place

As HUB’s BDM, you will be a key contributor within a growing and dynamic team that is delivering high quality and exciting projects in Qatar and the GCC.

1- Support the Management in the design, development and implementation of the organization structure to meet current and future business vacancies

2- Supporting the recruitment function by screening, interviewing and selecting candidates, whenever required while ensuring efficient comments documentation.

3- Oversee the maintenance and update Human Resources system and personnel records to ensure confidentiality, safe-keeping, accuracy and reliability of information and records

4- Ensure compliance of procedures with local labor laws

5- Development of Saudization program & provide in-depth Training

6- Manage and monitor employees’ performance and discuss relevant issues with Department Managers

9- Act as Auditing and Employee Relations Specialist and reports actions directly to Top Manager

12- Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements

13- Keep records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfer, performance reviews, terminations

14- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs

15- Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation

16- Prepare reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover
