1. Responsible for managing, monitoring & coordinating the administrative roles of an organizational unit.

2. Responsible for transactions related to purchasing.

3. Provide procurement services within the organization.

4. Provide the necessary orientation & induction for employees.

5. Provide consolidated purchasing requisitions in a timely manner.

6. Planning, organizing and directing to meet dept. /organizational goals & objectives. (Analyzing and developing effective solutions of functional problems.

7. Determining whether financial and internal controls are adequate to meet management objectives and makes recommendations for improvements.

8. Managing projects which requires knowledge to prioritize workload to meet work unit operations.

9. Meet with the subordinate on a regular basis and direct the work of other classified employees in the area based on ability by communicating effectively with them.

10. Supervise, monitor & coordinate the activities of the subordinates by scheduling and planning the work of others based on skills.

11. Approves/authorizes expenditures for administrative operational needs.

Experience & Education:

1. 5-6 years of experience in an administrative role, in a mid-size organization, a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience is a must.

2. A BSc Degree in business or a related field is a must.

We are looking for an Application Manager to join their rapidly expanding team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Manage a team of IT professionals in the field of systems analysis, applications software, and programming.

•Manage, develop and ensure the design and implementation of procedures and controls necessary to ensure and protect the safety and security of all information systems assets, including prevention of intentional or inadvertent access, modification, disclosure, or destruction.

•Researching the installation of new systems, review and approve action plans, requests and activities related to IT, coming from different functions of the company.

•Design a Reliable Microsoft Environment in the way that fulfills the company’s needs.

•Administer all versions of Microsoft Operating Systems, MS Exchange and MS ISA

•Administer all versions of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, FTP and other Microsoft features

•Administer various Antivirus applications.

•Administer BlackBerry application and service.

•In case a problem is captured on the Domain or the servers, analyze the problem and identify the solution.

•Solve issues through phone/e-mail or remotely, otherwise going to the site, and follow up the problem resolution until completed.

•Test the Systems and ensure the stability of the Systems Environment.

To deliver operational support related to service & system supported by Information Technology. Primary purpose of this role is to support the technical services environment operationally ensuring all key systems are managed and maintained within agreed standards and SLAs. System & Processes are implemented according to scope and regularly updated in line with business requirements. Backups are operationally managed and maintained.  Operations Support must be knowledgeable in a broad, constantly evolving assortment of Information Technology policies, procedures, & must possess the maturity & reliability to provide user support accurately & consistently.  - Provide a 2nd/3suprd/sup level operational support managing the Infrastructure & Operations environment.
- Ensure all operational systems are documented to high standard, with continual updates.
- Responsible for the daily administration / support of existing servers
- Responsible for the build and configuration of new servers and that they adhere to company build standards
- Handles the resolution of OS issues, patching, virus updates, design validation, hardware refresh and end-to end troubleshooting
- Responsible for the timely resolution of all server/OS issues and incidents
- Completes server administration functions in a timely manner
- Performs log and event analysis
- Adheres to company standard policies and procedures and change control process
- Ensures that all server/Data Centre documentation is updated and maintained
- Participates and/or takes ownership of the patching, troubleshooting and analysis of OS and hardware platform issue
- Analyzes issues and creates timely solutions to meet operational needs
- Interfaces with other administrators to provide requirements, develop procedures, analyze performance data and implement solutions
- Regular reviews of infrastructure performance against inter-dependent technologies and services
- Other duties as assigned by the Data Centre/Server Team Leader
