JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading the procurement of clinical and non-clinical supplies by working closely with Manufacturers and Agents to ensure that all materials and products are available in a timely manner for use by the internal CCAD customer base.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Leads the development and implementation of supplier strategies to meet CCAD’s clinical and non-clinical supply needs

 Leads the development of common supply chain processes, standards, guidelines and policy compliance requirements

 Manages the development, monitoring and continuous improvement of statistical reports on CCAD Procurement

 Drives best practices in strategic procurement, including category strategies based on internal and external benchmarking

 Supports the development of procurement and supply chain management systems, technologies and e-commerce tools across CCAD

 Coordinates strategic procurement and supply chain deliverables and ensures that key project milestones are met

 Negotiates and communicates supply plan timelines to internal and external customers and partners

 Provides leadership and guidance to the team members within the Strategic Procurement function

 Develops training and capabilities development plans

 Responsible for performance management reporting activities

Our client is an expanding leader in industrial, building materials and fiberglass manufacturing. With rapid expansion plans for 2012 they are an exciting multinational company to be a part of.

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This is a senior role, reporting directly to the COO

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Supply Chain Manager will manage a team responsible for planning and sourcing all raw materials, supplies and contracted services totalling SR 50+ million per year from domestic and foreign sources. In addition, the SCM will oversee the logistics functional areas including all inbound and outbound transportation and warehousing of raw materials and finished goods.

The Supply Chain Manager works under the COO in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Manager to ensure that customer demands are met efficiently and effectively. The Shipping, Procurement, and Warehouse Supervisors as well as the Planning Officer will be reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchasing

• Global sourcing all raw materials (approximately SR 75 million per year)

• Plan material requirements for production

• Maintain minimum inventories of all materials while keeping inventories under budget

• Maintain qualified alternative sources for all raw materials

• Sourcing all supplies and contracted services

• Secure and maintain duty exemption certificates for all imported materials

• Achieve cost savings goals consistent with business plan

• Develop and maintain contracts for essential, critical materials, supplies and services

Logistics

• Manage transportation of all incoming materials and goods including customs, clearing and warehousing

• Manage warehousing of all finished goods

• Oversee transportation of finished goods sales to customers (approximately 300 truckloads per month)

• Identify and contract with transportation firms (land and ocean) for transport of finished materials

• Maintain the quality and cost effectiveness of logistics operations

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, management, industrial technology, or industrial engineering

• At least 10 years experience within manufacturing industry firms

• 5-10 years in a supply chain/ procurement/ logistics position

• Glass fiber experience a plus

• Open to all nationalities

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary package will reflect experience levels and will depend on the candidate

• As a guide 30k SAR per month/ $100k USD per annum PLUS Accommodation and Transport allowances

• (Proof of current earnings will be required at reference stage)

• Health insurance for the employee and family (number of dependants varies, usually 2)

• Round trip ticket every year for the employee and eligible dependants to his point of origin

• 30 paid vacation days per year

• Tax free salary

Clinical Responsibilities

1. Perform head to toe assessment of patient’s health status by focusing on the chief complaint or reason for seeking Health care and prioritize their care according to the severity of their complaint.

2. Establishes diagnosis and to rule out life threatening condition wherein data collected during assessment in critically analyzed to arrive at differential diagnosis that the established diagnosis are hierarchical, beginning with the most life threatening.

3. Comprehensively and accurately document procedures done.

4. Uses sound judgment in accepting responsibility, delegating and seeking consultation.

5. Enact the patient care and professional standards in an ethical manner.

This Business Development position will be charged with leading the growth of the firm’s social sciences business in the United Arab Emirates . He/she will be responsible for working collaboratively with RTI’s current UAE-based staff to continue to strengthen existing in-country relationships as well as establishing and growing business with new customers.

This position requires someone with a combination of technical leadership and business development skills who can leverage the firm’s track record of cross-disciplinary work in social sciences. He/she must be experienced in assessing market opportunities, understanding customer needs and priorities, developing and maintaining relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders. He/she will lead in the development of new projects in the UAE and Middle East region, focusing primarily in the health and statistics sectors initially. The expectation is that, as projects are awarded, the person will also serve as the leader or senior member of the project team that executes the work.

The position is for a person to be located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, reporting administratively to the Vice President of Social Policy, Health and Economics Research in RTI’s Social, Statistical, and Environmental Sciences (SSES) business unit. The individual will have extensive international experience and specialized expertise in one or more domains (excluding environmental sciences) applicable to SSES as well as institutional capacity building. He/she will provide senior leadership in the pursuit and development of new business opportunities, working closely with RTI personnel located in the United States, as well as other geographic locations.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Provides technical leadership to project management team, and overall guidance based on his/her international and specialized expertise in the health/social science and policy domain.

• Leads development of proposals for new opportunities, with the expectation of working on awarded projects. The position is expected to reach the point of half-time business development and half-time working on contracts.

• Develops relationships with new clients and stakeholders and positions RTI as a highly reputable firm.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this job is to Plan & Carry out all fabrication and assembly activities required in workshop (related to Elevators, Aluminum & Kitchen works) to ensure delivery of requisite products to installation team for subsequent installation on project site.

The scope of Job will be from the point of receiving job advice till delivery of fabricated products / systems to the installation site.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate all fabrication & assembly activities in workshop

• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards

• To plan, manage and maintain all resources (Machinery & tools, Material, Manpower) required for smooth, uninterrupted and efficient operations in workshop

• Confer with Management, other departments (sales & installation) and other concerned staff regarding fabrication capabilities & capacities, planning & scheduling, and other considerations to ensure uninterrupted and smooth supply of fabricated products & systems to project sites.

• Measure, monitor and report Cost & Efficiency KPIs for management decisions. Ensure achievement and improvement of all related KPIs.

• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing team to provide requisite ideas and support for product developments

• Maintain Health & Safety standards in workshop as per company policy and standards
