We are looking for Cobol Programmer Analyst for a Leading bank based at Saudi Arab, Riyadh. Please send me your updated CV ASAP.

Maximum Salary- 15 Lpa (Tax free) + other benefits

Requirement:

3+ Years in MF Cobol,UNIX, SYBASE

Banking Experience Knowledge in Banking products like Payments (Local & International), B2B Integration, Trade, Receivables, Treasury)

Overall Responsibilities:

* Overall Development experience 4+ years including banking

* Skilled in COBOL program development as per standard methodologies (ex: CMM etc., ) in financial industry domain

* Programmer/Analyst for design, development, testing, rollout and implementation of new system and maintenance of support of existing systems

* Analysis and Design of software solutions, participate in development of functional specifications

* Participate in user requirements gathering and scoping

* Test the requisite programs along with the associated interfaces

* Prepare test plans for unit test and SIT

* Perform SIT/UAT issue fixing, root cause analysis

* Interact with users during UAT to ensure they are trained in the requested functionality.

* Develop programs as per laid down standards and procedures of the relevant Financial Institution.

* Analyse and fine tune and optimize programs to work within laid down performance thresholds

The Associate will be heavily involved in activities including: strategic evaluation, financial analysis, formulation of business plans, research and operational implementation. The candidate will work across business functions and with a multi-disciplinary team structure.

In the context of project activities, the Associate will be expected to:

- Independently drive deliverables, identifying and prioritizing associated work streams

- Structure and perform complex financial and business opportunity analyses

- Craft high quality communications materials for internal and external consumption

- Present strategic recommendations to senior management

- Develop key relationships with external parties (e.g. financing companies, government institutions, etc.) to understand market trends, best practices, and government regulations

- Collaborate closely with other groups within the organization to achieve project directives

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree from a top tier institution; Master’s degree a plus

- 3 to 5 years total work experience, with minimum 3 years in corporate development, investment banking or management consulting – preference for experience in MNCs (multi-national corporations)

- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of capital markets

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Proficiency in presentation and spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Office suite)

- A positive, highly motivated individual who exhibits strong leadership and management qualities

- Strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to excellence

- Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

- Strong team player able to work effectively in cross functional team environment as well as independently carry deliverables

- Fluency in English and Arabic
