This candidate will be the lead role in Jordan providing direction and oversight for a team that is accountable for the successful planning and execution of garment program production through any new or current sourced supplier matrix while meeting our global business requirements, quality standards, pricing and company’s objectives.

Reports to the Director of Sourcing in the USA.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, guide, direct employees and activities as required in conjunction with vendor execution of garment production to meet corporate key performance requirements

• Work to mitigate risk for all key products and contract manufacturers.

• Drive savings programs through the organization. Prepare and present project updates, marketplace trends and product variance reports

• Collaborate with key functions within company to ensure manufacturing supplier development strategies are aligned with the business unit objectives

• Develop budget & capacity utilization standards for sourced products. Identify, develop and manage regional supply base/matrix

• Recommend strategies for Short and long term sourcing while achieving timely delivery of product at required price and quality.

• Using various methods of networking and research, seek out, identify and evaluate capabilities of potential sources. Inspect sourced operations and maintain compliance with SLC Global Standards and Operating Principles. Ensure that all vendors are in compliance with company Global Business Principles

• Communicate front-end requirements and coordinate development cycle across the region.

• Responsible to ensure that all program terms and conditions meet requirements and that all vendor agreements have been submitted and on file.

• Communicate timely and accurate reporting to the Managing Director and keep him up-dated on all the issues.

• Work closely with Quality Manager to maintain schedules of Quality Auditors as well as maintain quality standards aligned with SLBA quality requirements.

• Maintain a global communication standard that monitors current events in sourced countries & locations. Assure business of production stability, serviceability; suggest new options, risk and political issues.

• Prepare bid packages for solicitation to vendors & help to negotiate contracts for production requirements.

• Assure contracts obtain best cost / value position.

• Assure quality of sourced product is in compliance of internal and customer expectations.

• Manage planned delivery / service schedules to meet internal and customer expectations.

• Establish program terms and conditions. Secure vendor agreements. Issue production orders and maintain all contractual requirements.

• Create & administer reports on cut, sew, shipping and schedule adherence and communication of the same to the US office.

• The manager should be able to quickly identify and surface operational issues. Define swift, effective alternatives, resource requirements or courses of action and be able to execute the plan.

• Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize sourcing, supplier activities, efficiencies.

• Collaborated with HR to attract and hire competent individuals from the local market or through reliable references ensuring right fit as per the business strategies.

• Efficient utilization and management of Office Budget.
