Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares illustrations or rough sketches of material according to instructions of client or supervisor.

Develops negatives and prints to produce layout photographs for client or supervisor.

Studies illustrations, photographs, and text to plan presentation of material, product, or service.

Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and creates sample layouts.

Selects, supervises, and obtains cost estimates from outside vendors such as photographers, illustrators, paper suppliers, or printers.

Prepares cost estimate for project within quality specifications, financial constraints, and time schedule for project.

Prepares layout prints for supervisor or client.

Presents samples to supervisor or client for selection and approval.

Creates finished layout, or prepares instructions for workers who assemble and prepare final layouts.

Reviews final layout and suggests improvements as needed, and presents final layout to supervisor or client for approval.

Prepares final layout for printer on paper, film, or disk. Checks proofs.

Reviews quality of final product before release to client.

Maintains image resource files.

1. Ensures that manufactured goods are produced in compliance with company specification, policies, and government polices.

2. Responsible for effective implementation and/or utilization of the approved analytical methods to ensure high quality raw material, semi finished products, finished products and packaging materials.

3. Responsible for developing, updating, and implementation of quality assurance procedures in partnership with Operation departments.

4. Develops and guides all team members to ensure proper implementation and adherence to HACCP guideline, GMP, and any municipal or government directive.

5. Liaises with all 3rd party external auditors and ensures that all operations departments are well prepared for external conformance audits.

6. Conducts monthly HACCP meeting with all team members and highlights issues and recommends course of corrective action were needed to ensure all departments are compiling with HACCP rules and procedures.

7. Responsible for managing of the pest control program to ensure a pest free environment.

8. Initiates, analyzes, and responds to any customer compliant and recommends the correction action to be taken.

9. Supervises the inbound material, in process, and finished product specification compliance, and recommends & takes action where necessary to ensure food safety and product standards.

10. Inspects returned items and approves all corrective action report.

11. Supervises the QA team on their day to day tasks.

12. Supervises the Sanitation team and ensures that cleaning and sanitation are performed as per the standards and initiates immediate corrective action when needed.

13. Responsible for ensuring those all on the line testing instruments are calibrated in liaison with maintenance department.

14. Conducts daily spot checks on grooming and hygiene standards of employees and takes corrective action with employee in liaison with his supervisor.

15. Makes plant walks and takes appropriate action to correct any shortfalls and to ensure HACCP & GMP policies and procedures are in place.

16. Interprets result and gives recommendations for product improvement.

JOB SUMMARY & PURPOSE

Supports Hyma Plant by ensuring efficient execution of the production schedule, product quality, planning and executing maintenance programs, and communicating with supply chain, quality and sales team members. You will contribute to the success of Hyma Plant by providing leadership for the production & maintenance department, includes ensuring systems are safe and reliable and for maintaining plant overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) at or above 95%. This position will be a strong supporter for the continued implementation of Lean Manufacturing and other continuous improvement programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Lead production and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

 Assures equipment reliability to maximize production line efficiency

 Maintains P&L responsibility over production & maintenance department cost centers

 Foster a collaborative environment between the production & maintenance department and other departments

 Detailed, timely communication with supply chain team, quality assurance, customer service and customers on production status. Responsible for maintaining Database system information for current production status.

 Work with the supply chain team in planning material needs for upcoming production. Timely communication with customers and supply chain team regarding these issues.

 Ensure all production equipment is maintained in order to ensure efficient production.

 Ensure all products produced in adherence to our quality standards and requirements.

 Assists with production scheduling to ensure production schedule meets customer requirements and enables efficient operations

 Generates PM (preventative maintenance) documents for all equipment and enforces their use

 Supervises work order system and prioritizes work orders as needed

 Directs team members engaged in performing equipment repairs and landscape maintenance

 Work closely with Plant Engineer to develop maintenance programs and execution of all projects as required.

 Assists team members in solving complex repair problems

 Suggests changes in methods and/or equipment to increase efficiency

 Set goals and objectives for team members, assists with their accomplishment

 Interprets company policies to team members
