Our client is an expanding leader in industrial, building materials and fiberglass manufacturing. With rapid expansion plans for 2012 they are an exciting multinational company to be a part of.

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This is a senior role, reporting directly to the COO

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Supply Chain Manager will manage a team responsible for planning and sourcing all raw materials, supplies and contracted services totalling SR 50+ million per year from domestic and foreign sources. In addition, the SCM will oversee the logistics functional areas including all inbound and outbound transportation and warehousing of raw materials and finished goods.

The Supply Chain Manager works under the COO in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Manager to ensure that customer demands are met efficiently and effectively. The Shipping, Procurement, and Warehouse Supervisors as well as the Planning Officer will be reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchasing

• Global sourcing all raw materials (approximately SR 75 million per year)

• Plan material requirements for production

• Maintain minimum inventories of all materials while keeping inventories under budget

• Maintain qualified alternative sources for all raw materials

• Sourcing all supplies and contracted services

• Secure and maintain duty exemption certificates for all imported materials

• Achieve cost savings goals consistent with business plan

• Develop and maintain contracts for essential, critical materials, supplies and services

Logistics

• Manage transportation of all incoming materials and goods including customs, clearing and warehousing

• Manage warehousing of all finished goods

• Oversee transportation of finished goods sales to customers (approximately 300 truckloads per month)

• Identify and contract with transportation firms (land and ocean) for transport of finished materials

• Maintain the quality and cost effectiveness of logistics operations

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, management, industrial technology, or industrial engineering

• At least 10 years experience within manufacturing industry firms

• 5-10 years in a supply chain/ procurement/ logistics position

• Glass fiber experience a plus

• Open to all nationalities

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary package will reflect experience levels and will depend on the candidate

• As a guide 30k SAR per month/ $100k USD per annum PLUS Accommodation and Transport allowances

• (Proof of current earnings will be required at reference stage)

• Health insurance for the employee and family (number of dependants varies, usually 2)

• Round trip ticket every year for the employee and eligible dependants to his point of origin

• 30 paid vacation days per year

• Tax free salary

General Summary of the position:

Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Business Development, the successful candidate will be a part of a growing mobility team, based in company headquarters in Dubai, and will act as the main point of communication with potential Move One corporate clients as well as global mobility partners. The South Korean Business Developer / Sales Representative will be responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions and will manage the quality and consistency of Move One Relocations’ product and service delivery. The primary focus will be on South Korean companies with offices in the UAE as well as developing relationships with moving companies based in South Korea.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients in the assigned territory/market segment

- Seek out opportunities to increase business

- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned

- Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships

- Help develop and submit professional, clear and effective proposals for current and prospective customers

- Provide a consistently high level of service to Move One customers regarding the entire process of relocation, freight rates, service levels, schedule information and customer inquiries and complaints

- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-ups

- Identify and resolve client concerns

- Stay up-to-date on new product and service opportunities, special developments, market conditions, competitors’ activities as well as advertising and promotional trends via personal connections and through the reading of pertinent literature

- Communicate new opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through networking activities to appropriate company staff

- Participate in sales meetings, networking events, trade shows and conventions

- Other duties as assigned

UASC is currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager for Jeddah Branch to lead and guide, manage and develop the Operation Team to meet the set objectives of UASC Operational Goals by constantly implementing and or improving various beneficial strategies associated with Port Operations & Transshipment Administration thus also ensuring that it complies with UASC policy and procedures.

•Constantly evaluate container control section on its update information and handling of container allocation efficiently. Minimize the discrepancies in container management to favor business needs.

•Plan, direct and co-ordinate the resources of the Operations Department toward the effective achievement of the operation plan

•Produce monthly operational performance report showing performance in key areas ( e.g., vessel schedule, cargo handling cost and productivity, equipment turn time).

•Ensure Operations Control maintains an updated IT information System on Container movements and Inventories, empty Container allocations and arrangement in Inbound..etc

•Develop and Maintain good relationship with Port & Customs Authorities to ease Business Activities.
