Job Description:
Their client in is looking for Geophysicists to join their subsurface team in Iraq
– For the highest ranked exploration/appraisal opportunities, mature to drillable status and provide input to the preparation of Investment Proposals.
– Support drilling operations to ensure key well objectives are met.
– Generate post–well audits to ensure learnings are captured.
– Ensure prospect evaluations are of high quality through attendance at peer reviews.
– Participate in partner meetings to help gain support for company proposals.
– Support data room evaluations to help optimize companys UK portfolio of opportunities.
– Pre–planning projects before going on site.
– Deciding on suitable seismic measurement and data processing techniques.
– Observing the reaction of recording equipment to detect irregularities.
– Testing, modifying and repairing seismic equipment
– Experience within the Oil and Gas Sector is a must and exposure in the Middle East a plus.
Experience: 1 – 5 Years
Education: Bachelors Degree
