Job Description:
Their client in Iraq is looking for a Geologist to join their subsurface team in Iraq.

Identify additional development and exploration opportunities and improve recovery from existing productive reservoirs, applying your skills and using state of the art tools to map and describe reservoirs, participate in volumetric and reserves estimations, and provide geosciences support to a fast–paced drilling and development program.

Experience: 1 – 5 Years
Education: Bachelors Degree
Skills:
– Masters/Bachelors degree in Geology or equivalent.
– Previous experience in petroleum exploration and developmental geology.
– Experienced in planning, drilling, completing and reworking well operations.
– Experienced in integration of geologic, geophysical, engineering, and production data.
– Proficient in reservoir description/core data analysis.
– Experienced with reservoir surveillance and optimization in commingled reservoirs.
– Proficient in reservoir characterization, including input to reservoir simulation models.
– Ability and willingness to mentor new geoscientists.
– Strong understanding of industry economic and financial drivers.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills.
– Proficient in petro–physical analysis.
– Proficient working with large well datasets.
– Ability to interact effectively with a broad range of technical specialists and partners
