ISP Infrastructure/Electromechanical Worker – Site Inspection in People Logic
for ISP Infrastruture – site Inspector
Coordination with ISP NOC Engineer for room layout, equipment to be installed, exact location of equipments, and containment layouts.
? To receive summary sheets through the Team Leader from the ISP NOC Engineer and used this as a basis and referrals during the implementation and inspection stage.
? Refers to approved Bill of Quantity (BOQ) of any project and ensure that same materials are installed on site.
? Performs Regular site Inspection on site to ensure that all installation works is as per approved NOC.
? Carry out site inspection in coordination with PMO, PND & Electro Mechanical Teams and other Infra Structure teams to ensure that the work is being executed as per the approved drawings by NOC team & in line with the EITC guide lines, snags comments are filled in the site inspection form.
? Prepares Inspection forms with summary of snag list and cover letter with Du stamp to be forwarded to team manager after the inspection.
? Attending internal & external meetings with customer, consultants, & contractors in close coordination with PMO, NOC team & other infrastructure teams to clarify and resolve any related issues in conjunction to ISP installation and design.
? Supervise the installation of passive equipment, UTP terminations, cable trays installations, and fiber link splicing and or terminations.
? Hand over the MDF, IDF, and TER (Telecom Rooms) facility to implementation team on time.
? Requires the contractor for final as built drawings, and test results, in forms of hard and soft copies.
? Escalates complex issues and problems that may cause delay in handover process to the manager.
? Full knowledge of test equipments being used in site
? To record and track snags noted during the inspection and visualize the next realistic inspection dates after rectification of snags.
? Maintains hard copy of approved drawings, summary sheets & B.O.Q
? To ensure accuracy of all relevant reports and submittal of all documentation required on time.
? To check Compliance with company policy, requirements, EITC Guide lines & specifications.
? Maintains polite and courteous behavior, shows professionalism in dealing with consultants, contractors, client and or customers.
? Must be able to achieve quality works set forth by the company.
? Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction in all aspects.
? To comply with the company code of Ethics.
Required Skills:
for Electromechanical works – Site Inspector
Electrical
Reflecting all electrical requirements by checking incomer power isolator, USP DB , wall mounted sockets , under raised floor socket (base on number of racks) , etc
Checking all electrical aspects and their compliance with the approved NOC and EITC latest standards and guidelines.
Checking the single line diagram and matched with room’s layout.
Checking the sequence of UPS connection and reference DB incomer and generator availably, final DB outgoings, ELCB rating and MCB rating, isolators rating etc
Checking redundancy of the UPS system setup for commercial buildings , Mini Core , & POP
Calculating the UPS and DC system capacity base on the summery sheet equipments.
Checking the space for UPS and the DC system and recommending free space require for the same along with weight UPS and DC system for raised floor load.
AC units
Checking the type and setup of air conditioning system along with spec’s requirements reflecting in the submittal.
Checking the redundancy of the air conditioning system for MDF, Mini Core, and POP along with interlock between unit and heat load calculations and unit capacity.
Assuring fixing the air conditions units out side the telecom room and require items like dampers and ducting system.
Assuring of required temperature and humidity range.
Fire fighting systems
Checking the fire fighting and fire suppression system base on the spec’s requirements and room functionality.
Checking interlocking of the fire fighting system with fire alarm system and HVAC.
Reflecting all spec’s requirements for the fire fighting system.
BMS systems
Checking the provision for the card access reader and CCTV
Checking the integration of the room fire fighting and fire alarm system with building BMS system along with integration of HVAC system.
