Operate PABX Board to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information and taking messages.

Answer telephone calls, screen and direct calls to the concern person or department.

Take and relay messages

Maintain company’s official telephone directory with description.

Greet persons entering organization

Direct persons to correct destination

Deal with queries from the public and customers

Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization

General administrative and clerical support

Receive and sort mail and deliveries

Keep check on employees attendance i.e. daily logs

Keep track of late comers.

Keep updated about person’s availability within the office and about their meetings or official visits.

Tidy and maintain the reception area Assists in other duties as needed and directed.

Required Skills:

Effective verbal and listening communication skills

Expert in telephone handling

Ability to operate PABX and other computerized telephone board/system.

Computer literate

Presentable personality
