A Senior Electrical Engineer is needed to work on a number of prestigious projects in Dubai, including towers, hotels and hospitals. You will be essentially the ‘right hand man’ to the project’s Principal Electrical Engineer on a team of Engineers and CAD staff. There are no limitations on how fast you can progress within the business, as they greatly value and reward capability and enthusiasm!

Your duties:

You will need the ability to write specifications and oversee the general designs and calculations carried out by the team’s Engineers and Junior Engineers. You will also be required to attend design team meetings. In addition you can also expect to be required to perform a range of typical engineering duties.

Their expectations:

  • Around 5-6 years post grad experience, ideally working on large projects of a similar nature.
  • Previous Middle East experience will be helpful, but is not a strict requirement.
  • You need strong communication skills, to aid you in working with those under you, as well as in meetings with the design team or management.
  • Enthusiasm, a strong drive and a positive working attitude will be a great advantage both in getting the job and in progressing thereafter.
