Sr. Network Administrator in Future Now (Pvt) Limited
? Supervise all aspects of LAN support, design and enhancements for users at Futurenow office and clients.
? Supervise all aspects of WAN support, design and enhancements for Futurenow and clients.
? Take decisions to manage the above mentioned areas.
? Making final negotiation with the Vendors in computer related purchases.
? Selection and Performance evaluation of vendors.
? Carrying out plans, sourcing and implementation of LAN routine & additional requirements with the coordination of with Manager TSG.
? Prepare LAN related requirements / enhancements/ maintenance solutions.
? Administrate LAN setup of FUTURENOW.
? Responsible for the maintaining and providing trouble free LAN connectivity.
? Maintain LAN Services (E-Mail, DHCP, Internet Proxy and Domain Trust Relationship etc) of FUTURENOW.
? Providing users access to the required shared data / applications / network & Internet Proxy services and record keeping.
? Responsible for managing software installations.
? Prepares network design for additional requirements and reallocations.
? Responsible for call assigning to Network or Hardware Supervisors and ensuring timely execution.
? Taking care of Antivirus and LAN security matters.
? Supervision of Network Supervisors and coordination with users for data transfers.
? Supervision of data backups, ensuring its placement and record keeping.
? Randomly checking the quality of backups by restoring the data and taking appropriate action in case of any observation.
? Knowledge of VoIP architecture and deep understandings of VoIP networks.
? Understating of IP-PBX, (Asterisk, FreeSwitch)
? Should have deep understanding of QOS, Jitters, Bandwidth managements.
? Knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, H323 etc)
? Should have experience of configuring IP-Phone ATAs and telephony cards.
? Should have sound knowledge of Linux administration.
? Should maintain backups of Linux VoIP servers.
? Should have understandings of VoIP Traffic managements.
