Overall Summary
To ensure an effective and realistic project schedule and ancillary controls are in place for any give project(s). To support the project managers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To ensure an effective and realistic project &/or bid schedule is prepared and approved, and that project constraints and assumptions are clearly identified.
2. To develop, or expand the already developed, WBS and ensure that 100% of the scope is included, leading workshops with relevant experts where required.
3. To manage the project budget, ensuring that job numbers and budget estimates are collated, approved by the end users & then approved by project managers.
4. To liaise with Work Package Engineers, using the WBS as a guideline, to develop activities and resource loading. To ensure referential integrity between resources schedule activities & schedule resource loading vs. progress tracking tools used by the Work Package Engineers.
5. To highlight any challenges foreseen in the workload planned by comparing to previous achievements and studying resource loads.
6. To ensure the project is accurately front-lined bi-weekly.
7. To ensure that project managers are advised of any key deviations & their impacts.
8. To suggest and corrective measures for delay mitigation.
9. To provide management and client reports as necessary.

Qualifications & Years of Experience:
• Diploma in Engineering
• 5 years of industry experience, preferably in planning or project management for new build, repair or conversion projects of:
Jack Up Drilling Rigs
Drilling Semi-submersibles
Drill ships
FPSO’s
Ships
Offshore Platforms
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Project Scheduling Professional (PSP) &/or Project Management Professional (PMP)
• 10 years of industry experience as defined above
