To lead all Marketing and Sales related activities for the company. These activities will include, but not

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct the development of the division’s guidelines, policies and procedures and ensure its

implementation across all departments while ensuring compliance with the company’s strategic direction.

• Establish and manage the relationships with Advertising, Media Services, Public Relations, Sales, Leasing

and Market Research agencies.

• Oversee the production of press materials of the company’s activities and ensures proper dissemination to

the concerned recipients.

• Keep abreast with the latest real estate market developments and trends and oversee the market research

studies and analyzes their findings, to prioritizes target market opportunities accordingly.

• Direct the development of branding, advertising and marketing campaigns to promote the company’s

projects.

• Direct and enhance public relations with governmental departments and related parties for marketing and

promulgation of the company’s projects.

• Direct and oversee all sales and leasing related activities including sales of the projects and ensure

effective media exposure and interpretation of project launches and analyzes sales performance on a

periodic basis and recommend corrective measures accordingly.

General Accountability

The Territory Manager will play an integral role to execute Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ Corporate Strategic Sales Plan in generating consignments through sales and marketing efforts by attracting buyers and sellers to the Ritchie Bros. sales and promoting the Company’s unreserved auction services and programs to existing and new customers within their assigned territory.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Manager will be an individual and regional team contributor for achieving the annual Gross Auction Proceeds (GAP) and Commission Revenue through pro-active prospecting and cold-calling of new customers within the assigned territory as well as strong account management of the existing customer base.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Introduce, promote and sell Ritchie Bros. services and programs to current and future customers through prospecting, cold calling and account maintenance activities.

* Encourage potential buyers and sellers to come out to our auctions.

* Assess your customers’ needs and provide solutions based on our service offerings.

* Assist with equipment appraisals. We’re not brand loyal at Ritchie Bros. — you get to work with it all.

* Take a break from the road and work at the auction, where you can drive gear, catch bids and network with your customers and colleagues all in one place.

* Monitor the market and your competitors’ services, prices, auctions and sales.

* Represent Ritchie Bros. at professional association conferences and trade shows.

Working Conditions:

* Attend 5 to 6 auction sales, 1 to 2 days each in duration within the region, where you’ll meet with your customers and your colleagues.

* Travel is required to cover the territory and prior to each auction sale.

* Work primarily from a home office and on the road.

Principal Accountabilities
